Ascending the southern slope of the volcano, we will cross the lava flow of 1983 and 2002 where we will stop to see up close its destructive effects. We will continue up to an altitude of 2.000 meters, where you can easily visit the Silvestri Craters originated from the eruption of 1892. here you will have the opportunity to walk along the edge of the lower crater, or go to the discovery of the breathtaking panorama that can be enjoyed from the top of the highest crater climbing the slope along an easy path.
Then we will move to the northern side of the volcano where you will be welcomed in a winery where you can enjoy typical traditional local dishes combined with excellent wines, A tasty immersion in the culture!
Follows the visit of Taormina where you will walk around the city center, the beautiful narrow streets, the characteristic little shops and visit the city's main attractions, like the Greek Theater (admission ticket not included), the Cathedral, Belvedere Square etc.
